Per Ankh

Per Ankh is a sisterhood of temples engaged in the contemporary practice of the traditional religion of Ancient Egypt, its culture, its belief systems, and its spirituality. Members of Per Ankh commit their lives to the loving service of the Netjer and Its children. There are different groups that fall into what is considered the Kemetic religion. We refer to our particular faith tradition as KTR--the traditional religion of Kemet (Ancient Egypt). The Per Ankh sisterhood of temples and its web sites reflect this faith tradition. Our Purpose We have been called by Netjer to help heed the call of the Netjer, to bring about knowledge of the Kemetic religion, and to help bring together the Kemetic community.

Community

In community, we participate in Re's daily journey renewing again the blessings of the first time (Zep Tepi). Even when we worship alone, we do in the knowledge that there are others whose work, like ours, helps keep the forces in balance and through Ma'at, expands the spiritual potential of all life.

What you will find here is a place for your participation in this process of worshiping, living, learning, sharing, and serving that is part of our Traditional Religion of Ancient Egypt (Kemetic Faith).

It is an exciting time for our faith and it is with joy that we offer the opportunity here for you to participate in our community and add your knowledge to its depths; we will all be the richer for your presence.

Who knows? The Netjeru are alway full of surprises, while we share some of their wonder as their creation our imaginings are limited, and so we stand in awe of what may happen.
