Per Ankh |
The Beginning Class is designed for various students who are interested in learning more about the Kemetic religion, who want to increase the depth of their relationship with Netjeru, and learn the basics of the Kemetic religion.
Beginning classes are four months long, regularly scheduled several times a year, and is limited in number in order to ensure that the teachers can adequately spend time with the students. Please see the Schedule of Classes for the next session of the Beginning Class.

Elements of the program consist of:
| Class meetings | We set aside x-hour meetings as class time. The Green Sheet (course outline) describes the various topics to be discussed during the class. Format: Lecture, discussion. |
| Private practice | Each student develops their own plan for private practice, including
rites to the Netjeru and the akhu, meditation, healing and energy work, and any other
elements the student wishes to incorporate.
An important part of the private practice is the art of keeping a journal where the student keeps a record of their experiences and activities. |
| Internet interaction | Per Ankh sponsors KemetOnline
where a special password-protected area
is set aside for Per Ankh's classes, where students interact with other students and their teachers
in chat rooms and message boards. Students can discuss their readings, ask questions, share information,
and learn together with their fellow classmates and teachers.
