  House of Life Seminary Program
First Level Program

The First Level of the Seminary Program takes a minimum of one year to complete, and is required for those seeking initiation as a W3b (wab) Priest.

Pre-requisites:

  • Completion of the Beginning or Equivalent. (Equivalency must be proved by the student.)
  • Completion of the Intermediate Course.

A student in the program must apply for initiation for w3b priest after 9 months into the First Level Program. The faculty will evaluate where the student is in their training, and what the student might need still need to do for the initiation of W3b priest.

The faculty of the House of Life Seminary Program might advise a student (that they do not feel is ready) that more work needs to be done prior to initiation. Hence, it might take longer than one year for a student to complete the First Level Program.

Initation as a W3b priest means that a student is dedicated to their particular Parent, and to continually deepen their relationship. The W3b is, in essence, the technician of the ritual. It is the W3b priests who ensure that all in the ritual are pure, and that the ritual goes smoothly.

Once the student is ready for initiation, the student also becomes ordained as a priest of Per Ankh. Per Ankh W3b priests are legally ordained to be priests within their given state.

As a representative of Per Ankh, the W3b priest will have all the tools necessary to help teach beginning students and work in ritual with other priests. However, becoming a W3b priest is not sufficient training to establish an individual temple; it is the first step in the training of someone who would eventually like to found their own temple.

In the First Level Program, the student learns:

  • the ritual care of statues and the liturgy surrounding them
  • more about their Parent, and developing a deep relationship with Them
  • the basics of teaching, mentoring, and counseling others
  • priestly ethics based on the Laws of Ma'at and how to deal with power
  • elements of being a priest, including confidentiality issues and crisis training
  • how to work with a community and groups

All inquiries into the House of Life Seminary Program should be sent to the Per Ankh Education Council.
