Per Ankh

Applying for Membership Any group or person can apply for membership to Per Ankh, if they meet certain requirements and criteria. For more information about the different types of membership, please the Individual or Membership pages. All inquiries into membership should be sent to the Per Ankh Membership Council. Because we know that the our way is not the way for everyone, groups and individuals can terminate their relationship with Per Ankh at any given time. Please read our FAQ regarding this issue.

For Affiliate Membership
To be an Affiliate Membership, simply fill out an application. You must show your commitment and your sincerity in the faith to be taken in as a Affiliate Member. There are no fees for Affiliates.

It is also highly recommended that you take the New Members Class once accepted. The New Members class is a pre-requisite for all other Per Ankh classes. Schedules for the New Members Class can be found in the Class section.

For Congregant Membership
Congregant Members are those who are interested in working towards being initiated into the traditional religion of Ancient Egypt, and becoming a Shemsu Member. There are no fees for Congregants.

To become a Congregant, you must first become an Affiliate, and after taking the new members class, speak with a member of the Per Ankh clergy about your decision to become a Congregant.

For Shemsu Membership

To become a Shemsu, you must first become an Affiliate member. Individuals must have taken, at the very least, the Per Ankh New Members Class, have spoken with a member of the Per Ankh clergy about their decision on becoming Shemsu. There are no fees for Shemsus.

For Temple Membership
Groups interested in temple membership must meet the requirements outlined on the Requirements Page. Please contact Per Ankh to apply.
